Description
I graduated from Faculty of Veterinary Science; University of Khartoum, Sudan 1989. Then I joined Ministry of Animal Resources as a Veterinary officer 1990-1996. DAAD (Germany) sponsored my postgraduate study at the University of Khartoum-Sudan during 1991- 1996. After the awarding the PhD, I was appointed as assistance Prof. at the Department of Dairy Production, Faculty of Animal Production then promoted to Associate professor in 2005 and to full Professor at 2010. I acted as head department during 2001-2009. I involved in teaching and supervision for undergraduate and postgraduate students from Faculty of Animal Production and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine subjects related to dairy production and milk hygiene and quality. I am also participating in some national and international professional organization in addition to community services. My research interests are hygiene and quality control of milk and dairy product with special interest in camel milk and its products. I published about 126 scientific papers in national and international journals and participated in more than 50 national and international conferences. I also acted as a reviewer for many international periodic journals in my field.
