Description

Air Traffic Controller and Airline Pilot with 19 years of work experience in the Aviation industry. 2004 Graduate of the Swedish Air Traffic Services Academy; Malmo, Sweden with distinction and the National Civil Aviation Institute in Khartoum, Sudan with excellence. Started the professional Air Traffic Controller career with the Sudan Civil Aviation Authority providing Aerodrome (Tower) and Approach Radar Control services at Khartoum and Port Sudan international airports. Provided on-the job training to air traffic controllers in all sectors; radar and non-radar operations. Aviation Planner and Coordinator in the Oil and Gas industry for 5 years providing fixed wing and helicopter support. Upgraded as an Area Radar Controller and trained in ENAC; University of Civil Aviation, Toulouse, France utilising Eurocat-X operations and datalink systems controlling all areas of the Sudan and South Sudan upper airspace. Started the Professional Pilot career in 2012 graduating from AFOS Flight School in Johannesburg, South Africa. Joined Nova Airways as a First Officer on the Boeing 737-300/400/500 and was appointed the Flight Operations Safety Manager for 5 years. Transferred to Badr Airlines as a Pilot on the B737 and Flight Operations Quality Manager. Currently operating with Turkish Airlines as an Airline Pilot on the Boeing 737-800/900/Max. During my career i have been involved in the successful implementation of IATA Operational Safety Audits (IOSA), Flight Data Monitoring and internationally was elected as a member in the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers Association (IFATCA) in the Technical and Operational Committee for 2 consecutive years being the author of two working papers in conference. Achieved two Top Gun Awards and holder of South African CPL/IR with ATPL credentials, Sudan ATPL with 2000 hours of flying experience and a Sudan ATC License for 17 years with Aerodrome/Approach Radar/Area Radar credentials. Diploma in Air Traffic Control, South African Commercial Pilot License with Airline Transport Pilot Credentials, Sudan Airline Transport Pilot License and Air Traffic Control Licenses.
