Description
El-Khidir Daloum built accumulative experience over 25 years in International Development and Humanitarianism. Previously, he worked with Saferworld as their Director of Programmes for Africa and Middle East (2013-15). Also he worked as Regional Director for Latin America, the Caribbean, Middle East and South East Europe for a period of five years (2008-2012) with Save the Children. He held a number of positions with Save the Children UK since joining the organisation in June 1991. El-Khidir previously worked at the Government of Sudan Ministry of Finance & Economic Planning, as a Financial Analyst (1986-1990), and with the British Government’s Overseas Development Agency (now DFID) in Strengthening Regional Planning in Darfur (1990-1991). El-Khidir holds a BSc (1985) in Econometrics from the University of Khartoum and an MSc (1999) in Social Policy, Planning and Participation in Developing Countries from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
