Description
I have MSc in agricultural economics (dissertation in Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects and Programmes) from the University of East Anglia UK. In addition to my career as Monitoring and evaluation specialist ((in Jebel Marra Rural Development Project (EU Funded) and in Community Development Fund Project (MDTF and the WB)), I was also general and executive manager of two projects, respectively: White Nile Agricultural Services Project (IFAD) and Community Development Fund Project (World Bank), all in Sudan. I was Chief Technical Advisor for an IFAD project in Yemen and was also a socio-economist for a UNDP project in Yemen. I did many consultancies in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Protection and Safety Net, and Food Security for IFAD, WFP, FAO and UNICEF.
